The difference between Warner Bros. owning DC and Disney buying Marvel is that WB has owned DC so long that it's just kind of there. Maybe this deal will give WB the idea to start utilizing DC more.

I completely agree with this. If Marvel had a studio like WB backing them for that long, we would have see dozens more comic movies over the years. For some reason, WB has been too afraid to make anything without Supes or Bats in it. They fail to realize the value of characters like Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman. They have been left almost in the dust in the movie race and it is their own fault.
