I have reviewed the information released from both Disney, Disney reps and Marvel.

My main projection of the merger is that Disney wanted to acquire the Marvel library for film revenue growth. This may bode well for the Marvel fan that has yearned not only to see more movies and cartoons but also to see a return to a more continuity based publishing line.

Now, the Marvel comic publishing wing concentrates quite a bit on everything and the publishing quality appears to have suffered. Now, the publishing wing of the biz can finally concentrate on producing comic books concentrating on quality and continuity, and that's it. Much the same way DC operates under WB.

If this is the path that the combined Disney/Marvel company follows, this merger may be exactly what Marvel fans have been clamoring about for a long time.

Excelsior,

Wait a minute! Disney with Marvel?? What about Universal Studio? IS they supposed with Marvel as like DC with WB? I went to Universal Studio in FLA, I see anywhere Marvel rides in there so I assume Universal Studio has rights with Marvel stuff???
