Which movie do you predict will do better with it's box office sales?

Way to early to tell. I think for action movies the biggest prediction for how well a movie will do depends on the marketing for the film and the perception people will have of the film. At this point, the movie going public doesn't know anything about the film for the most part. They need to see a trailer, some commercials, etc. It's kind of weird that we haven't gotten an official Thor or Cap trailer yet. Cowboys and Aliens has one and it comes out after Cap.

I reject alot of ideas people have about why Cap will do badly. I don't think it's pro-American nature will have a drastic effect on international audiences. Remember that they love American culture, our action films, our movie stars, etc.

If I had to make a guess, I would say the Cap film. Cap seems to have a much more likeable character with Steve Rogers, while Thor just comes off as a jerk in the leaked trailer. I'd also bet more on Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving than Chris Hemwsorth and Tim Hiddleston.

Both films will win their weekends and the next one after their release. But I think that it's going to be harder for the Thor film to have legs at the box office than it will be for the Cap film. After Thor you have Pirates, the Hangover, Kung Fu Panda, and X-Men in the following month. After Cap the only big release seems to be Cowboys and Aliens.
