    Yes I can.
    The World After Tomorrow got some critics comments after it's release due to the American-centric nature of the story-telling.
    This subsequently got some off-sided ignorant comments such as "Just because the Hollywood sign blows away doesn't mean the whole world is coming to an end."
    But this is just one example. I can't think (off the top of my head) of many other movies.

I am assuming you mean the Day after Tomorrow...

The film did great at the box office with the international audience, with almost $360M for the foreign gross, with a domestic gross of $187M and a budget of $125M. So while you could argue that it could have made more money if it didn't have an "american-centric nature", you can't really argue that it wasn't successful overseas.

And if I remember correctly, the film also got alot of criticism for blowing up international religious landmarks as well. I'm sure those in Hollywood are much more comfortable blowing up the White House then something like the Taj Mahal. There aren't going to be protest in the US if you blow up the White House, but there may be some in India if you do that to the Taj Mahal.
