And the Purple Man. Yeah, we know that he was a rapist. He did kind of make the Swordsman his sex slave, didn't he? I'm sure that was against his own will, although Swordsman was kind of a weird sex freak, wasn't he? I think that he was kind of into stuff like that.
Well from the way it was worded in the comics Nicieza probably had the same idea you did that Andreas was half queer (or bi or whatever) anyways so he didn't mind the rape. I'm surprised the gays weren't a bit offended on that one. Andreas whole attitude was more like "well I sometimes swing that way so I can't get too offended".
Quote:I don't remember reading it that way. It's been a while since I've been through the NuTbolts, but it seemed to me like he felt "debased", but admitted he had done so much to debase himself in the past he wasn't sure if he was justified in feeling that way. He was wrestling with his new sense of morality and was on unsure ground all around.
It may all be in how we both interpreted the scene. I see your point but I don't see how my interpretation is incorrect...he was raped and was questioning why he had the right to feel debased after the way he has lived his up until then (granted part of that was his possibly incestous relationship with his sister Andrea)
He did. I wonder if he forced her to marry him. From my understanding, and from what I read of his early/earlier appearances, he wasn't really all that bad or that sadistic until Bendis reinvented him.
