      Maybe the Skrulls killing off their flatscan and eternal counterparts (and scaring off the Dire Wraiths) and the Kree killing off their deviant and eternal counterparts (and scaring off the Cotati) rendered those experiments moot.

        Humans sharing a planet with races like the Eternals and Deviants may have created the competition necessary for humans to evolve.

    What I'm getting from the above, maybe incorrectly, is as follows:

    Skrull shapeshifters = Deviants
    Skrull analogy to Homo sapiens = "flatscans" = killed off
    Skrull Eternals = killed off
    Dire Wraiths = ???

Dire Wraiths are a subspecies of Deviants. We saw the last flatscan Skrull in the Blackwulf series.

    Kree blue skins = "flatscans" = Kree analogy to Homo sapiens
    Kree Deviants = killed off
    Kree Eternals = killed off
    Cotati = ???

Cotati are separate race. We've never actually seen or heard of Kree Deviants. We've only heard of one Eternal, Ultimus, the last.

    What would be the Earth analogy to Dire Wraiths? To Cotati?

Marvel Earth seems to have tons of hidden races that are offshoots of humanity. Hmm... Krakoa, perhaps?

    Aside from that, do I have the above correct?
