Quote: Quote: Maybe the Skrulls killing off their flatscan and eternal counterparts (and scaring off the Dire Wraiths) and the Kree killing off their deviant and eternal counterparts (and scaring off the Cotati) rendered those experiments moot.Quote: Quote: Humans sharing a planet with races like the Eternals and Deviants may have created the competition necessary for humans to evolve.Quote: What I'm getting from the above, maybe incorrectly, is as follows:Quote: Skrull shapeshifters = DeviantsSkrull analogy to Homo sapiens = "flatscans" = killed off Skrull Eternals = killed off Dire Wraiths = ??? The Dire Wraiths are supposedly from that Deviant branch. One thing I've never understood is if the Dire Wraiths were descended from your typical short green elf eared Skrulls or if both the the Wraiths and the Skrulls were descended from some primitive Deviant species that hadn't decided on a form yet....or maybe the Wraiths are just what happens when Skrulls get their hands on sorcery. We have seen one Skrull normal (I use the term flatscan but that isn't in the books so feel free to disregard it) and one Skrull Eternal. The rest as far as we know have been exterminated by the Deviants. The Skrull normal who is descended from the non-Deviant branch on Skrullos: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/primeskrull.htm The Skrull Eternal: http://marvel.wikia.com/Kly%27bn_%28Earth-616%29 Quote: Kree blue skins = "flatscans" = Kree analogy to Homo sapiensKree Deviants = killed off Kree Eternals = killed off Cotati = ??? Ultimus (http://marvel.wikia.com/Ard-Con_%28Earth-616%29) is the only known Kree Eternal. And maybe it's just me but the idea that Kree or Skrulls with prehistoric weaponry could wipe out their respective Eternal counterparts seems implausible. I'm assuming the Kree and Skrulls wiped out their respective eternals AFTER they became intergalactic super powers. There has never been any evidence that the Kree Deviants ever existed. It just seems logical that they would have at one point existed on Hala going by what we know of how the Celestials experiments on Skrullos and Earth played out. I figure the Collector and the Stranger would each want one if they still existed. Quote: What would be the Earth analogy to Dire Wraiths? To Cotati? The Cotati are outside of the paradigm as they are sentient plants who presumably were untouched by the Celestials. The Wraiths are a subset of the Deviant Skrulls. But I suppose the Atlanteans would qualify as a subset of humanity much in the same way Wraiths are for the Skrulls. They certainly qualify as a fourth race on earth. Quote: Aside from that, do I have the above correct? | |||||||
