Quote: Seriously? Planets? Well I guess if Wolverine could go from surviving a few gunshots to having his flesh exploded off his body then popping back..
Seems over the top, who was the writer on Kitty's god like power up?
Sam Humphries was behind Black Vortex.
Teen Cyclops, Teen Angel (in New X-Men), Adult Beast, Groot, Adult Iceman, Kitty, and Gamora were cosmically-empowered. But Teen Cyke, Beast, Groot, and Iceman chose to get rid of their powers (thus incurring the wrath of the Celestial that created it).
Thane and Ronan might have retained their powers, as well. We were never shown them being given the choice of giving them up like the heroes. And well, the status of the Celestials is questionable at the moment, anyway.

Okay, that explains Gamora's terminal velocity re-entry survival at the end of the book, too. Not saying I LIKE it (more of a fan of characters with limited powers unless it's a Superman clone like Hyperion or Gladiator) but at least it makes sense in the comic universe they are in.
