That kind of bothered me a bit, too. However, Hercules began long before the founding of Rome. It wasn't just a couple of generations before. There were many, many centuries between the Greek era and the Roman. Rome was not founded until the 8th century BCE. Hercules goes back to at least the 13th century. His mortal life ended before the Trojan War, which is currently believed to be 13th century BCE; used to be 12thC BCE. Neolithic is pushing it too far, imo. City of Heroes is BACK! | |||||||
