    Secret Wars #7

    NO, there are NOT!

It is weird. I can only guess that the sacrifice are the battles that are going on. The Reeds planned them this way, as fodder, as they go after the real prize.

    This was a POSERFEST! Bah!

Yeah kinda.

If not for the excellent artwork the word 'poserfest' would have been a more disful word.

I liked the "Peanut butter and brains" line... and Sinister insulting Goblin Queen's dress. The rest was just stupid.

Basically, this issue (sadly, ONLY) reveals where (sadly, ONLY) most of the major players are located, on Battleworld, before the upcoming Final Clash with (sadly) NO satisfying exposition or explanation of developments from their last appearances to this one. Oh sure, there's a lot of pablumesque skirmishes to watch to fill your fight quota. Having said that, several ambiguous character choices on the agreeable symbolic cover was also sad.

That's the big failure in this story: suddenly, there are armies against Doom from all sides with practically no buildup to why anyone should care.

City of Heroes is BACK!
