Subj: I would like that from Marvel AND DC both. I don't think it would work for Marvel though.

Reply Subj: would you like that marvel will make a CLASSIC IMPRINT with the classic heroes?

right now, i'm looking at the new marvel and has no clue who are this altenate heroes we see.
thor is a woman, cap is a former bird, hulk is a kid, spiderman is a millioner, the thing is a gardian of the galaxy exc...
it all seems like a tie in to a big event but it's IN the universe.
i think marvel should make a CLASSIC MARVEL imprint with the orginal heroes: steve rogers as cap, thor as THOR, banner as hulk, Fantastic four. x-men with a heroic Cyclops and a relatevly young wolverine and others.
this way we will have the old and the new to choose from, and marvel will get even more money. everybody wins.
what do you say?

DC's mainstream is always floundering around and looking for another reboot, and the readership has learned to wait for the next reboot as well. A nice classic imprint would be welcome from them.

Marvel's mainstream story tends to have more direction and momentum. People follow it and want it to go in interesting directions. Also, the Ultimate Universe proved, to me at least, that Marvel can't handle multiple Universes, because the Ultimate titles were of very high quality and very fun reads and then out of the blue the powers that be just seemed to stop caring about them. I was around for the 80's New Universe titles as well, Marvel's previous attempt at an alternate continuity, and that was also unsuccessful.
