Every heroic scenario has already been done. We have to be willing to let them be redone. Otherwise we'll get unheroic scenarios as those are the only ones that haven't been done.

Hulk was just done so much over the past 50 years I've had about all I can stand of it. I'm usually the type that doesn't want any permanence in fantasy, but I really have no wish to read a rampaging Hulk again after World War Hulk. Put it on a list of things we can never go back to, imo, like immature, careless Johnny Storm.

But seriously, a rampaging Hulk just never accomplishes anything of value, imo. It's just a series of spinning wheels that do nothing good for the main character.

Those other stories were great, imo.

Ben in outer space was a good idea in theory. As executed by Bendis it was merely a gimmick though a harmless one. But Johnny dating Medusa? That was nauseating.

From Johnny's perspective, not at all. From Medusa's? Yeah.

City of Heroes is BACK!
