Didn't you find it bOring?! And what's the point of introducing precedence that gamma transformed folk can share psi-space now? Hopefully, it was a unique side-effect to Robyn's change.

Secret Warriors 012

> Solicit:
> THE FATE OF THE SECRET WARRIORS WILL BE DECIDED…by a roll of the dice! Clandestine meetings predicated on lies! Teammates-turned-enemies brought face-to-face! A hero will break all the rules – but will it be enough to win?

The cover and solicit are clever. The art is good. The break up was heartwarming with each member parting ways - and partying ways. Even peacemaker Lunella was not that much of a pain. Obviously, not wearing her nerdy supercostume helped. Devoting 20 pages to a board game was a funny concept that worked out pretty good although maybe do you think less focus on the actual gameplay would have been more... substansive.

Not really complaining about it though 'cuz after just reading the good-not-great MISTER MIRACLE #6 and seeing they did the same shtick. That story was 20 pages of the New Gods couple debating remodelling their apartment while the story in the background was their Nuff Said break in. That will probably get uber-praise, online, and yet this Secret Warriors had oodles more background story content with the team break up! Granted, expecting to get something extra special with Mister Miracle #12 conclusion than was delivered here. The Mr.Sinister and Dark Beast danglers are very annoying. And winning the Marvel Universe version of the game Risk was small consolation for Dante who deserved a happier ending.

Wonder if it was probably intentional clever subtlety that Lunella acknowledges the players never had an official name while holding the Secret Wars game? \:\)

Other rhetorical(?) questions:

What does the Emily Dickinson quote on the title page mean?

What is holding Magik's Soulsword while she scarfs cake?

Dante and Quake getting it on in 6 months: any takers?

What was the truly great Star Wars joke that was inserted in the series?
