So this is the first issue I've ever bought of Moon Girl and that was because it features one of my favorite characters, Galactus. Galactus reveals the existence of an entity, Omnipotentis, who is as far above him as Galactus is above the Silver Surfer. While Galactus devours worlds, Omnipotentis devours entire universes, and he is coming to Earth. Now this is an interesting premise, although Starlin already wrote a similar character called The Hunger, but what made this story unbearable was Moon Girl herself. She never lets anyone forget that she's the smartest person on the Earth. She's arrogant, smarmy, snide, impatient, and all around insufferable, and she's all this to Galactus, who would normally not tolerate such disrespect. Is she like this all the time?

Indeed, I think it was telling in Hickman's FF that he acknowledged Reed Richards mind. It was one of the biggest complements that could be given and it was warranted.

From my limited exposure to MG (same reason as you) I hated the character. It is like they really want to force this notion on things. They would be better served having it be showcased somewhere.

I just find her insufferable and was just hard to read.

Look Raist bunnies...
