WHO ARE EXCLUDED?!? (Eternals #1 2021)

So. The Aaron 's Avengers #4 https://www.comicboards.com/php/show.php?msg=avengers-2018070520280271 really did happen and can't be retweaked with this ish that confirms it as totally canon. The Eternals' personalities/characterizations are pretty much carte blanche, with non-Gillen writers, after this final "reawakening" (of Ikaris) that happens, now, concurrent with the Present Timeline (it appears). Hmm... will Maelstrom http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix2/maelstrom.htm been included/revisited any time soon? Are they saying the home bases of the Eternals are out-of-sync between seconds so no human can just waltz right in? Reborn Sersi, (and Cowhead Gil) should not get an automatic new Avengers Reserve Identicard without a serious issue long vetting. Toby Robson's gravestone https://comicvine.gamespot.com/toby/4005-56253/ suggests 1985 tie in? Remind me what was the last known story arc/status of Thanos?

What do YOU like or dislike about this RELAUNCH?

Honestly, I don't like that it builds on any Eternals story of the past 20 years. Gaiman ruined them, and we're still stuck with the ramifications of that. Eternals aren't supposed to keep dying and returning. They're Eternal and just don't permanently die. Period.

And now we have the horrifically bad recent stores to deal with. Nothing in the known universe should be a threat to Celestials.

Never was keen on Zuras. I never wanted him back. Ah... never mind.

Still iffy about the new Makkari, but I don't really care.

Maybe they've added more stuff when they really should have streamlined things.

Everything else I'm cool with. For now.
