Moon Knight 001 (2021)

Moon Knight is usually very good with #1 relaunches. This is the case, again! Excellent redefining the character up front with honouring all his canon before him - even and properly that recent HORRENDOUS arc in Avengers. Even the artist Alessandro Cappuccio brings a new refreshing excitement like (but not as much as) Stephen Platt did when he came onto this character's MU playground. There's fun shared MU content with D-List cameos and Reese starts of as a fine substitute of Frenchie for now. Clear, straight forward mission statement, right off. And of course, the premiere intro of the newest arch-enemy Hunter's Moon was well done. Looking forward to the second installment! Are you?

For heck of it...

I miss Dad & Dan.

The story was ok. Willing to give it a couple of issues to see how it's going to develop. Maybe it's just me, but it seems as if they are opening up a way to walk back the idea his mental illness which I was never really comfortable with. Prefer him as someone who is driven and uses the multiple identities as a tool, not that they were part of a psychosis.

Not a big fan of the art style, but it was serviceable.
