Carol is attacked by a woman in a Vox Supreme Suit.
Oddly there is no record of her imprisoning Vox on file.
She defeats the attacker and takes her to Stark for medical aid and to get the suit off.
After getting the suit off, the attacker is Phyla-Vell and she warns Carol that "he is collecting Marvels" and then passes out. Medics rush to aid her and Carol takes off to get to Ms. Marvel.
as she does she leaves a voice message for Monica Rambeau who had taken the name captain marvel after Mar-vell perished.
Issue ends with Ms Marvel under attack by 4 people in Vox suits, 3 male and one female.
The female is likely Monica
One of the men is likely Genis who was advertised as appearing in this, another one of the males is likely Noh-Varr.
So if the above is correct, who is the third male? Mar-Vell?
It couldn't be Rick Jones, he is too busy being gamma mutated in the HULK series.....unless some time travel or cloning is involved in this story.
When he and Marv were linked and they faced the Supreme Intelligence, he split them apart and gave each of them one Nega Band. Rick did use it and briefly called himself Marvel Boy in that story. However it is likely not Rick Jones.
A time displaced Mar-Vell, a quasi-clone of Mar-vell is the more likely scenario. An actual revived from the grave Mar-vell? Even if it were, he would likely go back to being dead before the story ends, if it is a clone it will likely perish. Time displaced means he goes back at the end.
Or it is another version of Captain Skrull-vell from Secret Invasion (boo!)
As to who is collecting Marvels.....well somehow the Collector springs to mind....he would likely have the tech to restore Genis after he was ripped apart and sent into the Darkforce dimension by Zemo.
Collector may also have items that could clone or revive Mar-Vell
There are also previous Marvel Boys that could be drawn into this. The 1950s one now calling himself the Uranian in Agents of Atlas and Quasar who took over the bands and costume and name before deciding that Quasar was a better name for an adult. Not sure of the status of the golden-age Marvel Boy.
