August 1971: the month I started buying comics on my own. All Marvels were double sized at 25 cents before the increase to 20 cents. Avengers 93, Cap 143, FF 116, Spider Man 102, Daredevil 81, Hulk 141, Marvel Feature 1, Conan 11, Thor 193. Just to name some. That would be a good hardcover!

Avengers #93 alone is almost enough to make it a slam dunk! See pix.
