With a new collection of Spidey books being released, "Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus" collecting AMS 1 thru 38, how many of you people out there pick up the remastered volumes? I have collected the Spidey Masterworks which are nice books, if expensive, and was wondering if many of you actively collected these sort of reprints?

Hey: I have the Spider-Man Essentials and even some of the old Marvel Tales reprints. However, personally I plan on gettng the Spider-Man Omnibus HC when it comes out. I have the New X-Men Omnibus, the FF Omnibus, and the DD Omnibus and I can tell you the quality Marvel took in re-coloring and re-doing these books is simply EXCELLENT. I highly recommend them. The only drawback is their price. But if you can fit them into your budget, I give them my highest recommendations.

My only problem with the Marvel Masterworks volumes was the reproduction quality in places was a bit spotty. Not so with the Omnibus editions. I only wish I'd bought the Alias Omnibus and the Uncanny X-Men Onmibus. The back issue prices for them are too steep for me to afford. Oh well hopefully one day...
