I'm glad to hear somebody else liked it. I googled it after I posted this and saw people were really tearing it apart. I think this is mostly because it is so different than typical Spidey stories.

So Pete gave MJ cancer. So what? Let's be grown up about it. It's a logical conclusion for a radioactive person who is married. It seemed tragic to me, which is what made this story so great.

Honestly though, the saddest part of the story is when Pete is sitting at MJ's side while she dies and has to leave to go help somebody else. It kind of sums up their entire relationship.

I'm an old school Spidey fan and I loved this story.

Seems to me most were just tearing apart without reading it. "Oh how original, its a DKR ripoff" etc

Its one of the best stories I have read in a long time. And the ending was perfect. I was really afraid the ending would be a letdown.
