According to "All the Rage" on Silver Bullet Comics, Dan Slott is leaving "She-Hulk" to pick up something big. Seeing as Mr. Slott has risen through the ranks very quickly at Marvel, and they obviously think very highly of his work (giving him "Avengers: The Initiative" and having him at the recent annual creative summit), coupled with the fact that he is the writer of the FCBD "SM: Swing Shift," I think it's fair to speculuate that he will be the next writer of ASM. Reportedly, the announcement will be made in June at Wizard World in my hometown of Philly.

My reaction (if true): I'm speechless. This is exactly what I've been calling for for months (if not years), and I could not be more excited. Slott was born to write ASM, and I truly believe if he gets the job, he will knock it out of the park. I really hope this happens.

I love Dan Slott's work - She-Hulk, The Thing, Spidey/Human Torch and GLA/GLX have all been excellent and I think he'd be a great fit for ASM.

His recent involvement in the Marvel Editorial Summit, with just a handful of other writers, indicates that he is definitely going to be playing a major role in the Marvel Universe. I know he already writes CW:Initiative, but it would make sense for him to take on another MAJOR title like ASM.

I've enjoyed JMS' run on ASM, but I do recognise his faults as a writer and I think Slott would be a great counter-balance to the JMS run. He would probably use a lot of Spidey continuity, with classic villains and supporting cast.

Well, I guess all we can do is wait and see. If the choice is between Loeb and Slott I would definitely pick Slott.
