> If you read Iron Man #17, you see that Iron Man has indeed retained the "phera sense" (as he calls it) which he replicated from Spidey. In fact, he goes one step further, integrating that power into SHIELD issue Stark combat armor. I have to say, it's mighty strange to see SHIELD agents running around with a variation of the spider-sense...

I hate it.

Peter's Spidey sense should have been inviolate. I can understand others having vaguely similar powers, but I was pretty disgusted with the idea that it can be mechanically duplicated.

Retcon this please. This ONE time I am calling for a retcon, no matter how much I hate this in principal. Have Tony discover his duplication of it is faulty, when it causes a critical mistake, and he has to abandon it forever...

The idea of a mechanical spider-sense is just plain bad, and minimizes one of Peter's unique qualities. Let's hope that it registers too many false positives, or something like that, and has to be abandoned.

What I'd really like to see is Peter use his brains instead of brawn to undo this.
