Reply Subj: Misusing the spoiler tag like that creates problems for users, so STOP DOING IT!

It will lead users to believe that spoilers are in the post. It may lead some users to let their guards down regarding the spoiler tag, because it's become so badly used like this, that they click on something that actually is a spoiler that they genuinely didn't want to see. It negates the entire point of the spoiler system when you effectively have every thread marked as a spoiler (so what on earth can a late reader click on?!!).

Hopefully one day the spoiler tick-box will be expanded so it tells readers what it is that's being spoiled (to prompt those who forget to include this information in the subject line).

Some people need to chill a bit. I ticked the spolier box, because, god forbid, someone thinks that the possible new writer on ASM is a spoiler (stranger things have happened). I know what the spoiler policy is on the board, but in my mind, better safe than sorry. I made it very clear in the subject line that the subject was who is the new writer of ASM. Some people are just a bit too nit-picky and need to calm down.
