Funny, by my count he's posted 5 message on this topic while you've posted 14. Maybe people are tired of your rampant fanboy-ism and want you to shut up (actually, I think you both should be allowed to say what you want I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of your opinion)

> If you didn't like it that's ok, but don't flame the boards. We don't need a "Spiderman sucks" thread every two lines when they don't consist of any actual arguments. Reply to the thread below.

Is there a rule about starting new threads that I was not aware of?

Actually, Rotten Tomatoes has the "Cream of the Crop" (aka the mainstream writers) as being 55% against the movie and most of the positive reviews are luke warm.

> Seriously though, can we stop all the whining? Ok, a lot of us didn't like it. If you want to explain why, that's cool. But do we really need multiple posts of just garbage? This is my biggest complaint about this board even when it comes to the comics.

Well, maybe you should go somewhere else... Or even better, just don't click on messages where you know you aren't going to like/agree with the content

Yes, but I've actually talked the merits of the movie and replied to existing threads (except for the one I started, which was ok since I was the first). It's a little different than posting "Spiderman sucks" again and again. I'm not just picking on him.

For the record, I'm not guilty of fanboyism at all. I never said it was a great movie. It's my favorite Spiderman movie. It's not going to get an Oscar.

It's always been that way. The mods can back me up. If there is an open thread on an issue you do not post another one right above it. I don't really care unless it is pointless insults.

And that's better than what that group normally rates a comic movie at. As for my comment, I was talking about non-critics who saw the movie. Super hero movies always get terrible reviews from professional critics. This actually wasn't that bad.

Listen, I'm not being unreasonable. I'm not asking people to like the movie. I'm just asking, is there really a need to make a new thread to trash the movie every few hours when other threads are directly below it? Surely, some of you would prefer to talk about the comics or maybe even specifics of the movie.
