> Great review. I'm glad people are still upset enough to rant about this b/c I just think the whole idea is awful. Always felt it's insulting to the fans and the character as well as his history. It's "Magic." Ugh.

In for a penny....

OMD has been beaten to death, it's now roadkill in the desert, can we leave it there, please?

Pete was out of his mind with grief and guilt, have you never made a bad decision based on your emotional state at the time?

Furthermore, it has now been established that OMD did not result in the mindwipe, something else did that happened after OMD.
Whether this is an editorial U-turn or was always planned this way should not matter, so long as the explanation is a good one.

It's great that fans still feel strongly about Spider-Man and OMD/BND one year on, but I think that the comments have gone from outrage and disbelief to general bitching about any move that Marvel and Joey Q make.
It's done, it's not going to be changed back anytime soon, either buy ASM and enjoy it, or drop it and let other people continue to enjoy it.

Nuff Said?
