A thread below made me think of this, why not give your opinions on this issue?

To me, it's prominent for two reasons, one VERY big one.

1. Ned Leeds death. A pivotal moment in the Spider-Saga.

2. Spidey kills someone. Not through inaction or accident ( sort of ), bit by hitting a normal person so hard he essentially pulps her.

Obviously he was set-up to do this by Wolverine and Charlie, the latter choosing death over a life in captivity, but the fact remains that Spidey kills someone with his bare hands, the only time I can ever recall that happening.

Oh yeah, anyone else agree that Spidey totally kicked Logan's ass in this? \:\)

What was that woman made of? Seriously! She got stabbed in the gut my Logan. And than took a full force punch to the face that would have caved in the face of a normal human or fraking made it explode like a watermelon. All she got was a freaking bruise on her forehead and was able to say her good byes to Logan. I wouldn't be surprised if she was faking it. Or was like Cole from the old CW/WB show CHARMED and couldn't die and was just trying to find a way to day and just found out she was immortal. I dunno. Charlie's death is ripe for retcon.
