In New Avengers (I forget which issue but it was shortly after OMD) Spidey asks the Avengers if anyone remembers why he wanted to leave the House of M world so badly because he doesn't remember why.No one answered him and that was the last I recall anyone mentioning it.

> Well, if we assume that he doesn't remember House of M, then there's no logical need to address it, is there? Does anyone else remember it? I assume no one else in the MU knew that Peter remembered House of M, at least; so who is there to notice anything different if he doesn't?

> Anyway, there's definitely a case to be made that yes, a loose end like this should be tied up... but that applies to any number of things in any number of titles. Writers aren't actually obligated to resolve these kinds of things (and often don't), especially when the unresolved plots in question were started by someone else.

> FWIW, the notion that Peter remembered his life in House of M is interesting... and could have provided dramatic, thought provoking stories... but for practical purposes there was never any real chance that the concept would be handled appropriately. Logically this should have been a life-changing event.

> AFAIK the idea wasn't even introduced in any of the Spider-Man titles, was it? In any event, it was just sort of silly of anyone to expect other writers to pick up this idea and use it. Given that this concept never had a chance of being appropriately used, it shouldn't have been introduced at all, really.

> Ah well. Given that the House of M memories were thoroughly ignored -before- One More Day... I'd rate the chances of them getting any attention now at about .02%.
