Most of my early Amazing are CGC'ed and I have never read them except in the black and white Essentials. I'm thinking of getting the Omnibus which reprints 1-38 and have a few questions for anyone that has it.

1) It is described as having all the letters pages (which I think is cool), but does it have ads too? Meaning is it a true reprint or just the story and letters column?

2) There are supposed to be bonus features like unused covers and behind the scene info. How much is there and is it interesting?

3) Do you recommend it? Ebay has them for 80.00ish which seems more pricey than the Marvel Masterworks, which you could get for 15.00 or so a piece.

Thanks in advance.

Afraid I'm going on memory and the book is stashed away, but...

Just letters pages. No ads. (Maybe a few house ads in the bonus section, but that's it.)

Bonuses include a little behind the scenes stuff, the unused covers for AF #15 and ASM #10, Stan Lee's introductions to the Marvel Masterworks volumes (I think), some original art, and maybe a few other things.
