Had to delurk to post these goodies

Guys NYCC was total blast!!!

Let's say this was one my best coventions ever.

I made it a point to get there early to the show just in case Olivier Coipel didn't get a chance to finish my commission at home and I could be first.

Waited for a bit and then he showed up. he said he indeed finished the piece at home and took the liberty to bust out the colors and extras since I've waited awhile for it. let's say I was overly excited. First off this sucker is HUGE!!! I think it's 14 by 17.

He had some other predone pieces for 1k which are stronger than his regular commission pieces.

I then almost got my Amazing Spider Man #100 piece almost finished.

Leinil Yu rendered Daredevil and Steve Mcniven did Iron Man.

I dropped off my sketchbook to Rachel Dodson. She's inking Terry's Black Cat sketch from SDCC.

Last David Finch. Not sure if you guys remember this.

Talked to Dave about doing the other half with the black costume. Dave being modest felt he wouldn't it justice by rendering it. He was originally going to do it in the hotel but of course being in NYCC who is goin to have time? anyways I was picking it back up before leaving and he said he really wants to do it but at home. He said he would do the ink wash and stuff and asked if I would mind if he added backgrounds. Ummmm Hell yeah!!!

Even went to the Marvel party Saturday night. That is part of the reason I didn't finish the Amazing 100 because I was still sporting a massive headache the next day.

comments and Feedback are always welcomed!!!

Hi Mike, your links aren't working. I suspect that they didn't come through as full links. The Spidey #100 piece you are working on makes me suspect that I met you throughout the con. I was getting a Batman Jam and Spidey Jam worked on with headshots of villains.

Go buy my cheap eBay stuff! *I'm selling off most of my comic collection!*
