I have spent my time finding and trying to complete a Marvel Team up run since quitting. I get my spider fix, and again, am not supporting something i don't like/agree with.

Very cool. It's a long way off, but Marvel Team-Up is one of the series that I eventually intend to complete as well.

How in-depth is your collection? Are you just going for one copy of every issue or do you try to get everything, variants and all? And what about 30 and 35 cent price variants?

My entire collection is VF- or higher (7.5 cgc).

I have Every Variant cover ever made in America. \:\-\)
I don't collect Mark Jewler variants, price variants, or foreign variants, just cover variants. If you cant tell by the cover, then I don't get it. I do have all the polybagged stuff still polybagged too (Spiderman #1, the ones with the cassettes, Dirt Magazine, ...etc). And, I consider 2nd printings variants, so i got them too.

that being said, I have Full runs of Web, Spectacular, Friendly Neighborhood, Sensational, Marvel knights/Sensational, SpiderMan/ Peter Parker/Spectacular, Ultimate, and Untold Tales (Don't think I missed any).
I am missing 32 Amazing and Amaz Fan 15 (mostly due to my 7.5 cgc/VF- restriction because those are pricey).

I had never really considered Marvel Team up a Spider book (although it clearly is), and I spent my time and money getting the others (most recently Amazing). But, since I stopped reading after OMIT (which for me was Joe Q telling me directly, "it aint changing, so deal with it or quit") I still needed my Spider fix. So I called a store that I had done business with in the past to send me a run of what they had for Marvel Team up. Got the run for 750.00 and after scrubbing it to my guidelines of VF- or better, I am missing 17 books (but i do have readable copies of them all). I have just today ordered 14 of those 17 online from another store. I still need 3.

So, with 157 (books and annuals) stories waiting to be read, If I read one a month (normal comic shipping), I have my fix for 13 years (6 and a half if I use the 2 per month method that marvel is currently using \:\-\) ).

I never considered Marvel Tales a "real" book either, but if in 13 years things are still BND status quo, maybe I'll pick up those.

For the next few years I will be reading Team-Up and trying to widdle down the Amazings that I am missing (2 or 3 a year would be great).
