Sorry if I'm behind but I just read OMIT and if Mephisto wanted the love of Peter & MJ to be taken away due to them not marrying, isn't them being a couple all this time about the same? This brings up an interesting point, did Pete & MJ have relations while unmarried? I know in today's comics, doesn't raise an eyebrow but Todd McFarlane certainly enjoyed MJ cheesecake in front of Pete once she had his last name.

I don't think it's interesting. Of course they did, as it's a normal human behavior. They would have still lived together for X number of years just like in the comics. They just weren't married.

So my main question is: is it OK for our heroes to have lived in sin during those non-marriage years?

Yes. Again, something like 95% of people have premarital sex. It's an antiquated view that died out decades ago. Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter are in a sexual relationship together, and Cap is seen as more of a pure moral character. Frankly, it would be completely odd if Peter was still a virgin.

Also, I assume this means the baby is wiped from continuity?

Quesada said that he "sees" the pregnancy as never happening. It's never going to be referenced again, so whether it did or didn't happen wouldn't really matter in that case.
