Peter doesn't really deserve a relationship IMHO, because he'll only throw it all away/mess it up.

From a story point of view Peter had a gorgeous wife, a model, who was also intelligent and most important loved Peter unquestioningly. She loved Peter enough to give up marriage so his aged Aunt could have one last shot at life. And Peter, let her do it.

Ok so he felt his aunt being dead was his fault, yes it was. He unmasked himself on TV and now everybody was out for a shot. Peter that was your choice to do that, if you were thinking about Aunt May, and your family you wouldn't have done it. Also, first you are on Tony's side in the civil war then, you deffect to Cap.

Aunt May died because of the choices Peter made. I find it absolutely hilarious that now, his aunt is happily married, and he isn't. The irony!

Women need to keep away from Peter. The Peter Parker I knew and admired... he's as dead as Peter and MJ's marriage.

Good points. So Peter is a jerk, then he does a jerk thing to get rid of his jerkiness, and then continues to be a jerk.

Yeah, because Satanic Pacts are just what you want your flagship character doing. What next, Undertaker in a tutu? Optimus Prime becoming Decepticon leader? Batman with a pink outfit (if anybody mentions R.I.P, I shoot you. \:\) I didn't like that either)

-Jeremiah Ecks,
charming... to the last.
