I'm meeting Stan Lee next Saturday afternoon to get him to sign my Amazing Spider-man #1. The question I have for the board is this:
Where should I get him to sign it? If he signs the cover, the signature would deface the front cover artwork. I thought about having him sign the interior, like in the lower corner of the first page. But then, newsprint paper being what it was in the 60s, wouldn't a sharpie pen just bleed through all the consecutive pages?
So what are your thoughts?
Probably not what you want to hear, but my opinion is to not have him sign it. I think it defaces the book to have ANYONE sign it ANYWHERE. That being said, if you choose to have him sign it the cover is the best place (under the Human Torch looks to be a good spot).
Personally, I would have him sketch something and sign that instead. My 2cents.
Cool that you are meeting him though. Take pictures of him and of him signing whatever you have him sign!!!
