¡Qué bonita! ¡Qué mujer tan hermosa!

Gwen Stacy is looking sexy south of the border in Mexico. Saw a few unlabelled pages posted at a bulletinboard. Checked here to verify she's from the book El Hombre Araña in Mexico: http://www.comicvine.com/spider-man/29-1443/the-spiderman-mexican-comic-books/92-622882/

Does anyone know trivia about this series? Still running? Are the issues' artists usually native to Mexico or America? Are the stories usually all new or just reimagined/redrawned back issues? Is MJ just as big in Mexico? Don't recognize the 3 attached examples - apparently from issue 124 - for example. Can anyone translate the gist of the 3 pages? And that wedding cover, did it happen or was it a 'fake' event?

Well, I can't answer any of your questions, but did find some limited info at http://www.comics.org/series/27517/covers/?page=1. Page two has more original covers.

The series started in 1963, apparently reprinting silver age Spider-Man stories, as well as others, and ran until 1973, and then started again in 1974: http://www.comics.org/series/29775/covers/
