> I remember way back in the day, I originally thought Hobby was Roderick Kingsley (I imagined Uncle Roger brought him over into ASM after introducing him in PPTSM... guy who became Hobgoblin knew how to sew and dye a costume? Please... fashion designer!!! And what a way for this guy to get back at all the guys who bullied him),

I've seen this theory that "the Hobgoblin altered the Green Goblin costume = that was a clue he was secretly an Evil Fashion Designer" theory a number of times, but within the pages of a comic where 15-year-old Peter Parker knitted his own costume, and virtually every supervillain he fights also made their own costumes, the ability to re-colour the Green Goblin's costume, and replace that weird hat-thing with a hooded cape is hardly "evidence" of anything. Stern himself has declared that he decided who he wanted Hobgoblin to be as he was scripting dialogue for the issue, and the costume-modification was already a part of the plot, so it was never intended as "evidence" of who he was.

Nope, I agree with you... I was just explaining how my 13 year old mind was working at the time \:\)
