OK, Amazing Spider-Man 697 is out. Kingsley defeats Phil but he lets him stay Hobgoblin in return for a cut of his earnings. It turns out that Kingsley's new gig is franchising out super-villain identities- Hobgoblin, Devil-Spider, Unicorn, etc. That's a unique niche for Kingsley in the Marvel Universe.
In other news, we saw Harry- or at least someone claiming to be Harry, since he looks nothing like Harry. And Norman Osborn escapes, since the authorities left him in an ordinary hospital, without any guards. *sigh* At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the authorities didn't bother to lock the jail cells of Peter's villains.

The guy has been overexposed. and he's really outlived his usefulness. He's taken up SO MUCH of the Spider-Man mythos at this point. I'm beginning to think that it would have been better if he just stayed dead. Let him stay in the coma, but seriously, it's enough already. It's just tooo much.

And that seems a little bit strange for Kingsley. Even so, why would he let Phil continue to be the Hobgoblin?
