Ah. That might explain why Tyler has no idea that Miguel is Spider-Man.

It could also mean that the '2099: World of Tomorrow' series and '2099: Manifest Destiny' one-shot are also in-continuity for the original 2099 universe, as they were originally intended.

(As opposed to the Exiles Miguel or the Timestorm Miguel, which are very clearly alternate versions.)

Not sure how or when the Miguel we are seeing now diverged from the primary 2099 timeline, but your explanation makes sense and with it a lot of things fall into place.
