> However, all Norman said is that it is his son. There is still Gabe Stacy. I'm not sure when he possibly would have went to Hell, but I can see Spencer getting some real joy out of some kind of twist after this.
That twist would be a cleverly interesting semantics twist (after THAT dumb retcon) but was Gabe in that room of flashback partygoers than Editorial said was all the eligible candidates for Kindred? Anyeays, Norman could easily prove to be a fine 10/10 confirmed 'expected' surprise, too. Still, hmm, remind me why Norman would care about Captain Stacy's grave?

What was NOT clever, is the marketing (and cataloguing) decision to return to the POINT numbering system! ".LR" tagged onto repeated issue numbering??!! C'mon! That is dumb.

Also, more insulting and frustrating than dumb was the letter's page reveal that Miles is FINALLY starting to question his 1610-Earth origins. This (essentially) IGNORED post-Secret Wars mystery has been a posted pet peeve of mine for SIX years compared to the 2 years of Kindred. And actually, the Kindred mystery has been fine by comparison. The Franklin/Reece timeline tampering has been as bothersome and problematic as the Mephisto BND Deal fiasco. Now, if the Kindred story ends up fixing BND (as best as possible), then that'd make this current plotline, by comparison, more marvelous than just fine.

The internal chronology of the scene changes kind of (jarringly) threw me some - but otherwise this was a very engaging read. Also, hmm, did this installment just retcon Sin-Eater's origin or does his ignorance of his blame in his partner's death fit in (neatly) with his unforgiven sin and what readers were shown by PAD back then?
