JMS’s run on Spidey was ghastly, full of lack of of knowledge about Spidey’s past and mischaracterisation. I love Babylon 5 and JMS’s work in general. But on Spidey? No.

Disagree. JMS was awesome, and it's not as if Marvel has cared much about historical accuracy with a lot of it's characters in the modern age of heroes.
