I liked it better than I thought I would and will give issue 2 a try.
I agree about the art. If this is going to be an action book, you need to be able to follow the action. I had the same problem following the art at times. Also, I remember 3 consecutive panels where I thought Peter looked like a different person in all 3. I’ve never been a Bachalo fan, though, so I’m not really disappointed, just feeling “meh”.
I’m interested in the story but I don’t know if this “Non-Stop” theme will work for me. The dialogue also didn’t flow for me at times. I think the nuts and bolts of the plot being told in flashback throughout the story didn’t help story flow also.
But, they’ve got me, for at least the next issue. I question whether this style of storytelling will be sustainable, because I’ve always liked a pensive Peter Parker, though. We’ll see.
