Quote: Kindred unveils the sixth member of Ock's team: Mysterio

Hmmph. Underwhelming choice at this point. (nb. So was the motivation/way Kraven was recruited in Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man: Chameleon Conspiracy #1.)

Quote: Arriving there, Harry is captured by Kindred. He's been a prisoner for months.

Grey Gargoyle, below, is right - things have regressed to inorganically confusing in regards to how/if Kindred is 100% Harry.

I just realized... Kindred reminds me of Hush and the 'Sinister War' is obviously the Marvel equivalent to the 'Rogue War' and the 'War of Jokes & Riddles'.

After J.M. DeMatteis & Peter David, Nick Spencer pays tribute to the Distinguished Competition (more precisely Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns & Tom King).

I doubt that's what Nick Spencer has in mind and I wouldn't bet on it but, at this stage, my wishful thinking is that Kindred is only a smokescreen and the true mastermind is... undead Quentin Beck working for Mephisto.

It would mean that Quentin Beck is not resurrected, that he has known for quite some time that Spider-Man is Peter Parker and that the other Mysterio is not Quentin Beck (probably, Francis Klum instead).

If I was the writer, that's how I would resolve this storyline since Mysterio is the master of misdirection & mind games.
Besides, Nick Spencer's run started with Mysterio and it may end with him as well...
And, also, Mysterio is more or less the Spider-Man equivalent to the Riddler & Hugo Strange.

But it is far from certain that's the story's direction... Yes, I am totally lost, lol (^_^')
