There are quite a few rumors about Steve Ditko and his time on Spider-Man, such as him wanting to convert the comics into political propaganda, that he wanted somebody else to be Green Goblin. This post is exploring a more recent rumor, namely that Ditko didn't want Spider-Man to graduate from high school.

I got to explore all the production data, that is currently available. I am going to explore the sources from where, and more importantly, when this rumor first became public and prominent, and also my own thoughts about whether it's true or likely.
