Ok, but Kingdom Come Superman was god-like, but still living in a world that wasn't just fragile to him, but where there were other super-beings and technology that made him "not" powerful enough to solve all the problems. There was a balance there that left alot of room for different kinds of plots.

I'm talking about making him being too powerful again where the new readers will probably feel like the guy's too powerful and perfect to have any problems or human villians, like Luthor, to have a chance to defeat him which can be "believable" which is part of the basic elements of a story.

You’ve got to look past the powers. Despite what the Battle Board posters might have you believe, the best stories do not revolve around who can beat up whom.
