Subj: Is there a reason no one recalls Forever People #1? Posted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 at 11:52:28 pm EST (Viewed 3 times) | Reply Subj: Re: Questions About Superman Villians: Are Superman And Luthor Friends, Prankster, Metallo Posted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 at 04:24:28 pm EST
It's not out of continuity -- indeed, one of the issues of John Byrne's series Jack Kirby's Fourth World was dedicated to retelling it. Not to mention the fact that Action Comics #650 reasserts the continuity status of JLofA v.1 #183-5, another story in which Superman encountered Darkseid that would have been set before Superman v.2 #3. > > # When did Darkseid and Superman first encounter each other? At the same time, Legends #4 which leads into that issue. - Omar Karindu "Brubaker and Phillips' CRIMINAL #1...is really ****ing good. I mean, REALLY ****ing good." -- Warren Ellis "Brilliant. Another winner. Ed's at the top of his game and Sean's inventing new games to be on top of...I can't wait for more." -- Kurt Busiek Read CRIMINAL by Brubaker and Phillips. Because it's that good.
