Looking back on it, I didn't express myself clearly in the question you responded to. I made it sound as if I didn't know there had ever been an "in continuity" story in which anyone visited a world previously established in its own little "Elseworlds" publication. I actually had already heard a lot about Superboy's "Hyper-Tension" story arc that you mention, that took advantage of the then-recently-introduced Hypertime concept; it's reflected in my Timeline regarding a Supergirl character from a previously published Elseworlds, as well as the Supergrrl of her world.
Here's what I probably should have said: "I only count a particular 'alternate timeline Supergirl' as deserving inclusion in my Timeline's listings if her own specific timeline has been visited by someone from the mainstream DCU timeline, or the other way around. Or some other tangible object, as in the case of the Tangent Green Lantern ended up on a beach in the regular DCU. So has anybody from the DCU has visited any of the universes of previously-published Elseworlds stories that had their own variations of Supergirl, Superwoman, etc.? Variations that aren't already on my list of characters somehow connected to Superman's continuity in the current draft of my Timeline?"
That's approximately how the question should have gone, as near as I can reconstruct my original train of thought!
By the way, since my policy with "52" has been to wait for the trade, I don't think I even knew Hypertime had been mentioned in it. Can you tell me a bit about the context? Was it mentioned in the present tense (as something the characters "know" is still going on around them) or only in the past tense ("this is the way the cosmos Used To Work" before the Infinite Crisis") or what?
