Acting clumsy....seemed to be disliked by most of his coworkers...etc. Now maybe it was done to show the huge difference between Clark and Superman but I don't know. It was just constantly making me think of the movie.

Part of this is from the movie, but the movies barrowed from the comics of the first forty years. Back when Clark acted clumsy and his co-workers had varying opinions of Clark. We remember this more due to the movies, because almost all of us have seen the films. Not all of us have seen the Pre-Crisis tales. The clumsy angle was referenced from time to time throughout the Post-Crisis books, most notably the Wedding Album.

The only thing I didn't really like is that he does not draw Superman as being all that big of a guy. I know he said in numerous interviews that he wasn't going to because he didn't see the need but it's been established in the DCU that Kal IS a big guy and has pretty much always been shown that way. The change here is somewhat disappointing, to me at least. The rest of the art was good though.

Some of the artists over the years haven't portrayed Superman as big as Wayne Boring or Ed McGuiness. Curt Swan, once he was allowed to go his own way, didn't make Superman as big as Boring. Moebius (sp) didn't have him that bulky either.

True. McGuiness is way over the top with his art but then that's his thing. Curt didn't draw Supes as big as Boring but he still drew a pretty big guy. Neal Adams, Jim Lee.......all drew him as a big guy. Moebius didn't but then that's not his style either. I still think that Frank's interpretation is against the flow of most other artists.
