Want to read a good (mostly) stand-alone comic with good art?

Read THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #7

This issue is what comics should be: Fun.

Seriously. This is a fun comic in the spirit of DC COMICS PRESENTS or the original B&tB in their haydays.

Waid's characterizations are spot-on. Perez's art is fantastic. And the story, while obviously feeding a larger arc, stands perfectly well on its own.

Unfortunately, I can't say much more without spoiling it, but if you miss fun team-up adventures of days gone by, give this comic a look.
