The link I copied below from a previous post clearly shows Superman Prime in space at the Source Wall....talking to Mxy. Appears to be his temporary home, or sorts. Now, Lobo can breathe in space, why can't Superman Prime?

In the months following his resurrection, Superman's powers began to increase, though for a short time. During this period, his ability to survive in space had changed. His blood was now oxygenated (sp), thus he didn't have to hold his breath for an hour or two, in order to travel underwater or in deep space. Since then, he hasn't had to worry about finding or carrying an oxygen source. Though I haven't read all the stories from 1998-2006, I believe this has remained in effect. So I wager that Superman-Prime can either hold his breath for a long time, as he did in the Pre-Crisis days or he's like Clark now, who has oxygenated (sp) blood while in space.

Uh...no. Prime acts on an entirely different level from today's Superman. He simply doesnt need air. Pre-Crisis Supermen after the golden age didnt need to hold their breaths. They didnt need air period.
