Previous Post Just found this link at Supermanhomepage.com: http://www.supermancinema.co.uk/superman3/general/script/s3_original_idea.pdf After reading it, I can say this had potential to be a better film than the Superman III that ultimately came out in 1983, although there's a lot of work to be done. What do you guys think?

It's a rough draft so it could have gotten better in later rewrites- but based on what is there this would have torpedoed the franchise faster than the version of Superman IV actually did. It would have lost the comic fans by playing fast and loose with Supergirl and Brainiac. It would have lost everyone else with the bloated storyline (Time travel, Myxzptlk, Supergirl's whole origin...)
