In d-s's reply, he points out that one guy said one thing, another said the opposite, and that's what I meant. (I didn't recall the names, but remembered the two of them contradicting each other.)

No clearcut answer, unless one of them has more clout as a "formal representative" of DC on the matter. (Or maybe the one who spoke last wins?)
